Good news!

I thought I'd let you know, I'm fine. The cat scan came out normal and the appt. with the surgeon was really good. He does a lot of surgeries in that area and said he's seen intestines look like mine. It's not common but there is nothing wrong with it. It's not cancerous or anything. Plus, since I have NO symptoms in that area, he's not worried. Neither am I.

What a relief! You have no idea. It was a very stressful day and the gal who tried to put in my IV for the cat scan (they put some drug in to add contrast) poked me until I cried. I was so embarrassed. Finally the main guy came and did it in one try.

I can tell a difference in my body with the drugs in it. It feels yucky. Like I used to feel when I ate like crap. It is a huge difference since I had started eating really healthy. I can't wait to feel healthy again with no crap in my system. Well, crap that' s NOT supposed to be there!

Anyway, for now it's over, over over!!!! YEA!!! I'm FREE!!

Yea!!! Congratulations!

I can notice a difference too when I start eating well and then eat something that I used to enjoy. My body sure doesn't appreciate it.

What kinds of things do you eat these days to eat healthy. I have such a hard time coming up with ideas of what to eat. We get stuck in ruts and could use more variety.

hi, it's me! melissa c said...

I am actually eating what is called an alkaline diet. You can look it up on the internet. The site I have found to like a lot is called "Phion Nutrition, the 7 steps to ph balance"

It's basically a way of eating that balances the ph of your body.

I have decided no to "diet" anymore. It's too hard. I just want to eat healthy and I feel so good now.

good news! and in regard to the former post... the docotr works for you, not the other way around, it's good you fired him. Sometimes I think they decide because they have more education they think they can be rude, uncaring and condescending. You pay for his pool, his house and his children's private school. He works for you, never forget that.

I've heard of the Alkaline diet too. What I read about it makes a lot of sense. I don't *diet* either. I just want to eat healthy foods and enjoy the things I am eating and the way they make me feel.
